Research in Greece for Dementia caregivers
Research in Greece
p-consulting.gr and Koi.S.P.E. “Faros” project partners in Greece, are conducting a research for professional and non-professional caregivers of people living with dementia, which is aiming to identify their educational needs. This research is also focusing on trainers of health professionals, in order to collect information about their experience on online training of carers of people living with dementia.
For the purposes of the research, 3 different questionnaires have been created:
- Questionnaire for professional caregivers of people living with dementia, for example nurses, social workers, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, etc.
- Questionnaire for non-professional caregivers of people living with dementia, for example family members, friends, volunteers, etc.
- Questionnaire for trainers of health professionals, in on-line training programs, focusing to caregivers of people living with dementia.
This research is being conducted at the same time to all partners countries: Greece, Italy, Spain, UK, and Denmark. The conclusions of the research will be available soon.
It is of high importance that all around Dementia answer this questionnaire, as the conclusions will be the begining of the creation of the rest of the outputs. The aim of DCare is to create tools that are tailor made to the needs of the people with Dementia, but also their families and their caregivers. In order to make this happen we need your views.
